The large tablet occupies an odd space: too big to be a phone, not quite a computer. Its best use turns out to be the one its makers push hardest — as a notebook, with a stylus, for people who think by drawing.
The display is superb, the speakers are better than they need to be, and the battery comfortably outlasts a long flight. Multitasking has improved but still feels like a tablet pretending.
Buy it for the screen and the pen. Keep the laptop.
